Hi!  I'm Danelle!  I am the owner and Sugarist at Sassafras Sugaring and a certified educator for Tamara's Sugar. 
As a Tamara's Educator, I train and use Tamara's Sugar exclusively in my studio.  Tamara's Sugar is manufactured locally and is certified organic, fair-trade, and leaping bunny approved!

I am currently offering one-on-one private certification courses in one or two days.  I am also available for Advanced courses customized for your needs.

You must be a licensed Esthetician, Cosmetologist, or active student in one of these programs.  You will need to submit your license to me to secure your spot in a class.

Pricing

One-day Intensive Sugaring Certification Course $699

We will cover theory, paste types, hand positioning, and master the art of the 'flick".  You will leave with knowledge of sugaring full legs, arms and underarms, full face, and bikini.         

Brazilian Sugaring Advanced Course 
This course is offered to certified sugaring students for $275 it is an amazing add-on to the certification course. It is also offered for $399 when taken separately.  Brazilian is probably my most requested service I have. 

I am also open to travel, salon setup, and any other specialized advanced course at a negotiated price.

Why Sugaring?

  • Sugar is 100% natural and is made of sugar, lemon,and water.
  • There is zero risk of burning when it comes to Sugaring.  Sugar is warmed only to body temperature.
  • Sugar and is water soluble!  This means no risk of lifting skin on your client and a quick clean-up for you.
  • Sugar extracts hair in the direction of growth, allowing you to extract hairs as short as 1/8th of an inch.  Eliminating ingrown and broken hairs.
Sugaring is a WIN for the environment, because we don’t use strips, sticks or any excess materials.
